NDIS Early Childhood Approach - Senior Practitioner Early Connections

as a Senior Practitioner, Early Connections and play a pivotal role in shaping
high-quality early intervention outcomes for children and families across the
Barwon region. In this rewarding position, you will bring together advanced
clinical expertise and strong practice leadership to support a dedicated team
of practitioners delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach. Working within a
collaborative and values-driven environment, you will help ensure services are
evidence-informed, consistent, and responsive to the diverse needs of children
with developmental delay or disability.

About the Role
As a Senior Practitioner, Early Connections, you will:
- Provide practice leadership, mentoring and clinical guidance to Early Connections Practitioners, ensuring delivery of consistent, evidence-based services aligned with NDIS standards and the Early Childhood Approach
- Support children and families directly through a caseload, delivering high-quality, family-centred interventions and conducting developmental assessments to inform tailored support planning
- Lead complex case consultation and decision-making, drawing on strong knowledge of developmental milestones, NDIS legislation, and best practice frameworks
- Contribute to service quality and operational excellence through practitioner support, stakeholder engagement, data-informed practice, and continuous improvement initiatives
Position Details
- Full time, ongoing position
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $110,379 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging
What We’re Looking For
We
value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles.
To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Early Childhood or other Allied Health discipline or equivalent or equivalent and substantial experience
- Strong understanding of the needs of children aged 0-9 and their families with children with developmental delay, concern, or disability, including milestones and behaviours.
- Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to engage with families, stakeholders, and community organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex cases requiring strong understanding of the NDIA legislation NDIA processes and the needs of children and their families.
- Understanding of the purpose and expectation of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and demonstrated commitment to contributing to a child safe organisation in both practice and culture
