Housing Case Manager
Help create pathways out of homelessness and make a lasting impact in your community.
As a Case Manager in Meli’s Housing Services team, you’ll work directly with individuals and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This role is about more than providing support—it’s about empowering people to build stability, confidence, and long-term housing solutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values connection, courage, and action, delivering services that strengthen communities across the Barwon and Southwest regions.
About the Role
As a Housing Case Manager, you will:- Provide case management support to individuals and families who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness
- Assist service users to develop the skills and confidence to address the causes and impacts of homelessness
- Support individuals and families to establish and maintain safe, secure, and affordable long-term housing
- Build strong relationships with community organisations and service providers to ensure coordinated and effective support
Position Details
- Full time, ongoing role
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $101,032 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:- Excellent understanding of a strengths-based case management approach.
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, and/or related behavioural sciences; or diploma level qualification.
- Experience in the community sector with understanding of the causes and impact of homelessness as well as underpinning issues of family violence.
- Understanding of the housing sector and renter’s rights under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.
- Values diversity and works respectfully and inclusively with people from a range of backgrounds and communities, such as CALD, LGBTIQ+, and First Nations peoples
